So, why bother with DNA matchmaking?
DNA provides a precise method for matching potential sperm donors with recipients, or potential co-parents. Dozens of peer reviewed research studies have demonstrated that individuals with different DNA markers find each other's scent to be appealing, and will have an increased chance for successful fertilization and have a lower risk of miscarriage.
You can also use DNA to evaluate compatibility with an existing donor, using DNA Romance's donor-recipient report which allows you to make more informed decisions.
Gene Pool uses DNA Romance's DRom 1.0 algorithm to enable effective matches between sperm donors, recipients and potential co-parents by analyzing 100 Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) markers found in genes that are crucial for attraction and reproduction.

We care about your privacy and have several measures in place to keep your personal data secure. We follow HIPAA privacy guidelines when handling your data, and we don't sell DNA data to 3rd parties! We encrypt all data that is stored, and the names contain a unique hashed path and other obfuscating elements. Access to the data is limited to key development personnel who have 2-factor authentication restricted access.
